🎭 About Brian Love – The Man, The Myth, The Mic-Drop Moment

A versatile performer with a dynamic vocal range (C2 to C5), Brian brings depth and energy to every role. His rich, expressive voice and commanding presence make him a standout on stage, screen, and in the recording booth. Based in South Florida, Brian is always ready for the next creative adventure.
Brian Love is an accomplished Broadway actor, singer, and voiceover artist with a career spanning over 25 years across theater, film, television, and the recording industry.
Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Brian discovered his passion for performing in middle school. His love for acting, singing, and dancing led him to workshop the role of Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet with the Great Lakes Theater Festival’s High School Outreach Program. Just five years later, he returned as a Featured Guest Artist in their College Outreach Program—an early sign of the exciting career ahead.
Brian’s breakthrough came when he landed the role of Jim in Big River at Cain Park, opening doors in Cleveland’s professional theater scene. He went on to star in principal roles in Ain’t Misbehavin’ and Kiss of the Spider Woman at the Beck Center, as well as a run at the Hanna Theatre in Cleveland’s Playhouse Square. These performances paved the way for his biggest opportunity yet—playing Benjamin Coffin III in the 1st and 2nd National Tours of RENT, taking him across the U.S., Canada, and Japan.
His success in RENT led to an offer for Broadway’s cast, but fate had other plans. At the same time, Brian was cast as the Swing and Simba Understudy in the 1st National Tour of Disney’s The Lion King—a role he chose to originate. This decision led to an incredible 10-year journey with The Lion King, both on Broadway and national tours. Beyond the stage, this experience shaped his personal life, leading him to his wife, the birth of his daughter, and a new chapter in South Florida.
Since making South Florida home, Brian has expanded into television and commercial work, landing:
✔️ Three national commercials
✔️ Two regional commercials
✔️ Two appearances on HBO’s Ballers
✔️ Bookseller/Fight Captain in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast at Maltz Jupiter Theatre
Alongside his acting career, Brian is passionate about mentoring the next generation of performers. As a resident instructor at ArtStage Performing Arts, he teaches:
🎭 Characterization & Intonation
🎶 Pitch & Breath Control
🎤 Audition Preparation & Acting the Song
When he’s not performing or coaching, Brian and his wife are cheering on their pre-professional ballerina daughter as she follows in the family’s artistic footsteps.
For Brian, performance isn’t just a career—it’s a calling. Whether on stage, in front of a camera, or teaching in a classroom, his mission is to inspire, entertain, and share the magic of storytelling with the world.
